 Good Morning Pa,
I am still in Aria Bucks Hospital. Got a surprise yesterday.  First my Sis-in-law dropped by and gave me a smash journal. It's a sort of scrapbook to keep momentoes.  Then my son drove down from New  York and surprised me.

I hope everyone has a blessed day

Hugs,

Trish

GM Trish and PA!

Sorry to hear that you are still in the hospital, but glad that you got your surprise visitors!!

Last night I had a date night with my hubby. We went to Parx Casino to see The Sensational Soul Cruisers then we went out to Chickie and Pete's for a snack. Picked up the child and went to bed!

Today I already took Dee to hebrew school, got gas, stopped off for breakfast and now posting! I am going to do laundry and straightening today. Get stuff ready for the week, YIPPEE!!

That is it for me!

Have a great day!

Love to all, Beth

Sending prayers out to one of our PA folks, Trisha Helbert.  She doesn't post here anymore, but if she's lurking I want her to know we are thinking of her.  Her father had a heart attack yesterday and then suffered an aneuryism and a stroke over night.  He passed away today.  Send your prayers out to Trisha and her family as they deal with this loss.

Morning all.. went out last night to a party and had a fabulous time!! I felt super sexy and let go of all my stress for the night! It was awesome!!  The only thing missing was Neil by my side.

I'm just about to head out to pick up Siehara from her brother's place.  He and I had a nice talk, alone, before they left last night and he is fully aware of the things she has been going through.  He let me know that he would definitely be talking to her while she was with him.  I made sure he was aware that she was not to go on the internet or have access to a phone, unless it was to call me.  He checked with me to make sure she was allowed to play video games and watch t.v. -- I was very appreciative of that respect he showed me.

Once I pick her up, we will head down to NJ for her camp reunion.  She is very much looking forward to it and I hope she appreciates the fact that I am letting her go and that this was another earned priviledge.  While she is there, I was going to find someone to visit, but I need to run some errands and there is a mall and shopping center nearby, so I'll do that.  Maybe after, she and I can visit someone (like Schnibbe).

Tonight was supposed to be a work dinner to spend $100 we earned for earning above our plan for some month over the holidays.  The company rewarded our store for a job well done.  We had to postpone the dinner, though, because one of the asst manager's moms is terminally ill and she has to go out to Utah.  So we will wait until she is in a better place so she can be with us.

That's it for me.. hope everyone has a great day! Off to get fuel for me and the car and head out.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Trish and PA:

Very nice surprise yesterday from your family.  Hope you are starting to feel better.

Beth - so glad to hear you and hubby had a wonderful date night.

Yesterday was a very noisy day at the house, Gene and our son-in-law broke through the solid cinderblock wall from the new to the old basement in preparation for the doorway from the family room into the library office area.  Oh MY the house was so noisy with the loud tools they needed to do this work.  Took them all day to do it, glad I had a hair appt. and was out of the house for part of it.  Tried to read and work on my homework but with all the noise I could not concentrate so I gave up and played on ebay most of the day.  Can I procastinate or what.  Prior to our son-in-law leaving we pulled up the carpet in the living room and hallway to see what condition the floors are in - they are awesome!!!!!  we are not going to have to purchase hardwood flooring for the old portion of the house - this is such a relief - that we are not going to have to put out the $$ there and it actually cut the amount of hardwood flooring we'll need to purchase in half.  Our son-in-law knows how to use the machine we'll need to lightly sand the old floors.  So now we are getting unfinished hardwood for the addition so we can re-fini**** all at the same time....A little bit of good news in the otherwise nightmare of our life.

Gene was funny yesterday, he said he didn't realize how much strength he's lost over the years until he tried to life the tool to chop the cinderblock away - Eddie (our son-in-law) was throwing the tool around like it was a toy.  Eddie does this type of stuff all day.

Hope you all have a wonderful day...

Ida
